The Dirt

The Josh Taylor Band has been around in different forms for a few years now. Josh has been playing in different bands since he was 14 and decided it was time to start something new last year. Josh provides the vocals and lead guitar work with a rough sense of passion. Jack has been playing drums for years and is extremely solid in his rhythm, Josh Turner brings the heaviest bass lines ever heard in the Josh Taylor Band which adds a harder edge to the music. Noel Cruse adds depth and layers with his rhythm guitar work, and David George provides a few extra touches of orignilty to the music with his harmonica voicings. Together the band is as solid and varied in its musical stylings as it has ever been. Last summer the band started on their debut record at Martz Artz studios in Dalton. The record contains some of the most heartfelt and diverse music that the band has ever been blessed with. There is almost certainly a song on this record for anyone who truly enjoys music. Be looking for the record to be released in March or april, and the band will be having a C.D. release party as soon as it comes out. Be on the look out for that as well as other updates regarding the band.
